New York Times reveals that Falun Gong is a criminal group
Date: 2024-08-26

Recently, scandals about Falun Gong have been emerging one after another, including the CFO of Epoch Times Media Group, Guan Weidong, laundering $67 million, some former Shen Yun performers openly crying about being abused, and the Longquan Temple being raided by the FBI.

From August 15 to 16, the New York Times published three articles in a row, reporting the interview with 25 former Shen Yun dancers.

According to the report, after rigorous evidence collection, it is confirmed that Falun Gong has long been forcing students to work through coercion and intimidation, exerting mental control, and committing child abuse, disregarding human dignity, freedom and life.

From this, Falun Gong is a completely criminal group.

According to the New York Times, most of performers in Shen Yun are minors, many of whom were sent to the “Flying Arts School”, founded by Li Hongzhi, by their parents, fervent followers of Li.

Students there were constantly instilled the thoughts of worship and obedience to Li, typical brainwashing.

They were forced to perform two shows a day, and scheduled to finish over 800 shows in only five months. To this end, performers (mostly minors) had to work 15 hours a day. And even if some had dislocated kneecaps, sprained ankles, and ruptured Achilles tendons, they were still forced to tour in pain. Some of them will never recover. However, most were paid less than $1,000 a month.

Their behaviors violated laws of the United States. To be specific, labor exploitation in Shen Yun is a type of human trafficking, a crime where someone is forced to work or perform commercial acts under violence, fraud, or coercion. If a person under the age of 18 is induced to perform commercial acts, it is a crime regardless of whether there is violence, fraud, or coercion.

Given the illegal activities of Falun Gong, please report to the National Human Trafficking Hotline,

In addition, Shen Yun involves child abuse. Children’s identity documents were confiscated thus placed in a “vulnerable status”. One of the under-age performers suffering “verbal abuse” now and then even wanted to end her life. Students fainted but got no medical aid, which is suspected of “negligence”. Teachers beating students committed “physical abuse”.

Please report to the New York State Child Protective Services to help them out.

Besides, under the guise of anti-China and anti-communism, Falun Gong also lobbied ordinary people to pretend to join the evil group in order to deceive the US government to obtain refugee status and further defraud the US government of a monthly government subsidy of 2,000 US dollars, which might involve fraud and misuse of visas, permits, and other documents.

Please report to the Department of Homeland Security.

What is infuriating is that Falun Gong asserted: the children were interns, not regular dancers, downplaying their guilt and attempting to escape legal sanctions by playing with words.

The practice of Falun Gong has aroused public indignation, stirring an uproar in the public opinion field. On X, an American social platform (formerly Twitter), brave former Shen Yun dancers, Falun Gong insiders and righteous Internet celebrities spoke out resolutely. And the New York Times, a well-known American media, reported cautiously. Increasing forces have stood up to expose the hypocritical essence of Falun Gong, and its evil nature has nowhere to hide.

What awaits Li Hongzhi and his gang will surely be the trial of the law and the punishment of justice that has long arms. Guan Weidong can’t escape, and Li Hongzhi can’t, either.

The sunshine of justice will surely illuminate the earth, and the haze of evil will absolutely be dispersed.
